Billing Brook Special School - Board of Governors

Introduction from Kneale Granger - Chair of Governors

All the governors are proud of Billing Brook School and think the children there are fortunate to have such kind and thoughtful adults to teach and help them. They hope you share their feelings.

I have been a governor for five years and before that was a teacher at Moulton (Comprehensive) School for twenty-seven years. I come to the school three mornings a week and help mainly where I can. I also serve on the Finance and Personnel committee, and the Health and Safety and Premises committees.

I am fortunate in being able to attend many of the school functions that parents come to and I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible.

Wendy Hunter

I am a newly appointed Parent Governor at Billing Brook School. My background is in Human Resources but recently I changed career direction as I wanted train to become a teacher.

I am now doing this at a Northamptonshire 11-18 school. Part of my role as a Governor is to look at the curriculum and policies side of things which I hope to do by observing, monitoring and reporting.

In my spare time I am a coordinator with Special Needs Children, which I find very rewarding
