Billing Brook School

Admissions

All referral papers to the school come via the Local Authority (LA). The LA is the admission body for all special schools, but they always consult with the headteacher to ensure that th epupil's needs can be met at the school.

All children have to have an existing Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) or Statement of Special Education Needs, which reflects the specification of the school in order to be admitted. The school caters for children aged 4-18 who have moderate or severe learning difficulties; autism; speech and language needs and mild medical needs. The school can currently accommodate between 194 - 225 pupils.
